Nissan Altima
When shopping for a used car, there are a lot of options, and they can come in many makes and models, such as this bmw e30 for sale, which may be at the top of some people’s car wishlists. With that said, another popular mid-sized used car is the Nissan Altima. The Nissan Altima is very comfortable, has a smooth ride and gets 38 MPG on the highway. In the last several years, the Nissan Altima has ranked by Kelly Blue Book as one of the 10 Best Sedans. We feel the Nissan Altima is a top choice for a mid-sized car with cool tech options, excellent safety and is very enjoyable to drive.

Nissan Altima Interior
The Nissan Altima has a cool look and sports car-like handling. Nissan has done a masterful job making complex audio and navigation systems easy to operate and understand, something both old and young will appreciate. The Nissan Altima sedan’s cabin is finely crafted with soft touch materials, but its prime attraction is NASA-inspired “zero gravity” front bucket seats, which approach the relaxed “neutral posture” that the human body assumes in a weightless environment. Nissan’s available navigation system has added smartphone integration for iPhone and Android, Sirius XM Travel Link, and Sirius XM Weather. NissanConnect with Navigation, which is part of the available Technology and Display Audio Packages, includes such features as a 7-inch touchscreen, 3D effect map views, voice recognition, and turn-by-turn navigation. Also integrated into the Advanced Drive-Assist screen is a speed limit display, Eco driving maps, curve warning, and split-screen display.
Nissan Intelligent Key
Leave your keys in your pocket or purse with this feature. Just walk up and push the button on the door handle to unlock the doors, get in, and use the Push Button to Start to go. No more fumbling in your purse or pocket to find the key. So long as it’s somewhere in your pocket or purse, you’re good to go. The fob will transmit the “ok” code to the car’s computer, allowing you to push the starter button and be on your way. No more struggling to get into the car when it’s dark, cold, or raining outside.

Nissan Altima Drive
The Nissan Altima may be one of the best driving family sedan the company has ever produced, thanks in part to the advanced multi link rear suspension and what is arguably the industry’s best continuously variable automatic transmission. Nissan engineers bench marked such premium sedans as the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series when designing the Nissan Altima and the results speak for themselves. The Altima is nimble and light in around town driving, yet sufficiently aggressive in tight turns as to satisfy the most demanding enthusiast.
The base Nissan Altima 2.5 offers a 6 way manual driver’s seat and a 4 way front passenger seat, plus a 60/40-split/folding rear bench seat, power windows and door locks, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel with touch controls, remote keyless entry with a push button ignition, NissanConnect Bluetooth hands free connectivity, and a 4.0 inch color customizable Advanced Driver Assist display. Altima S and SV models add features leading up to the top line 2.5 SL and 3.5 SL models loaded with leather, premium trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, BOSE Premium Audio, and heated front seats/steering wheel/outside mirrors, plus 18-inch wheels and tires on V6 powered models.
Nissan Altima Safety
In government crash testing, the 2016 Nissan Altima sedan received a perfect five stars for overall, frontal and side crash protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Nissan Altima its top “Good” rating in its moderate overlap frontal offset, side impact and roof strength crash tests.
Nissan Altima Performance
Most Nissan Altima models will come with a 182 horsepower, 2.5 liter four cylinder engine, but a vigorous, upscale 270-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 is available. The thrifty four cylinder combines with the latest Nissan CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The result of 20 years of refinement, this drivetrain results in a segment leading 38 mpg EPA Highway estimate. That’s better than Ford Fusion Hybrid, Chevrolet Malibu ECO, Hyundai Hybrid or any other competing mid-size sedan.
The four cylinder gets a 27-mpg EPA City rating. Contributing to fuel efficiency is a regenerative alternator that operates only when the Altima is cruising. With the V6 engine, the fuel-economy estimate shrinks to 22/31 mpg City/Highway.
